Asystance makes business processes more efficient by means of web applications. They develop and market the Alis (Asystance Laboratory Information Management System).

Alis was developed for small and mediumsized laboratories. The Alis LIMS goes beyond standard LIMS functions by putting strong focus on quality control, management information and security. Because of its general nature, Alis can be used in many industries, such as food, chemistry and
environmental. Alis can be implemented in-house as well as according to the Application Service Provider concept. In case of ASP, Alis runs in an external data center, managed by experts and linked to the Internet backbone. No specific IT knowledge, servers or any IT management department is necessary. Alis implementations can be converted from in-house to ASP and vice versa at any time. All (historical) data is retained.

Alis is a cost-efficient LIMS solution. Thanks to interface, design and technology, Alis offers advantages in many areas, including:
- Quality control in each process step
- Documents and regulations available on all workplaces (compliant to ISO 9001)
- Simple exporting of analysis results to statistical software
- Personal interfaces due to rights management and access control
- Optional accessibility for external parties

The core functionality of Alis includes:
- Processing and filing of analysis results
- Testing analysis results against (product-) specifications
- Ad hoc reporting of management information (SPC, qualitative and quantitative)
- Graphical trend analysis of all results
- Audit trail of all mutations
- Document management system (sampling and analysis regulations always available and up-to-date)
- Extensive user right management with secured access control
- Integration with external systems (e.g. ERP, CRM, MIS)

Alis has an internal document management system that satisfies ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 standardization systems. By incorporating sampling information or analysis regulations in Alis and assigning them to specific analyses, users have access to relevant and current documentation from all workplaces. In this way, Alis plays a vital role in ISO 9001 certification processes.
